The KaTo Holiday House is a standalone, exclusively rented panoramic holiday home in Balatongyörök for up to 6 guests. Originally developed from a traditional press house, the interior features natural wood panelling, exposed ceiling beams and a cosy, authentic Lake Balaton atmosphere. The lake panorama is already visible from the bed in the balcony bedroom.

🏠 Interior Layout

The approx. 90 m², two-storey house features two bedrooms, a spacious living room and a separate WC on the upper floor. The ground floor houses the kitchen, panoramic dining area and shower bathroom.

Panoramic Balcony Bedroom

The upper-floor balcony bedroom is furnished with a 180 × 200 cm double bed. The room has its own balcony with a stunning Lake Balaton panorama — the lake view is already enjoyable from the bed.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom features a 180 × 200 cm double bed and a standard single bed, making it suitable for 3 guests. A particularly practical layout for families.

Upper-Floor Living Room

Between the two bedrooms lies the spacious living room with exposed wooden beams, TV with German channels, a pull-out sofa, pull-out armchair, reading corner, bookshelf, multilingual books, children’s books and board games. A separate WC is also available on the upper floor.

🍳 Kitchen and Dining Area

The ground-floor dining area also offers a Lake Balaton panorama, giving shared breakfasts and dinners a special atmosphere. The large wooden dining table comfortably seats the whole family.

The kitchen is well equipped: dishwasher, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker and a Szarvasi espresso machine are all available. The full amenities list can be found in the Services section.

🚿 Bathroom and WC

The ground floor features a shower bathroom with WC and washing machine. The shower includes a comfortable built-in seat. A separate WC is available on the upper floor. The washing machine is particularly practical for longer stays or family holidays.

🌿 Outdoor Areas

The property includes a plot of nearly 1,500 m², of which the fenced area around the house — including parking and yard — covers approx. 400 m². The enclosed yard, large paved outdoor area, flower garden and panoramic resting spots provide comfortable outdoor living.

In front of the house there is a panoramic terrace and sunbathing area with loungers.

Covered Garden Pavilion

A special highlight is the covered garden pavilion, which serves as an outdoor dining and barbecue area. A stone oven, built-in stove, goulash cauldron, bacon roasting rack and a portable grill are all available.

The yard also features a table tennis table, offering a welcome leisure activity for families and smaller groups.

🚗 Parking

The yard provides parking for approx. 2 cars. If needed, additional parking is available on the wider plot belonging to the house.

📍 Location and Surroundings

The house is situated in Balatongyörök, in the panoramic area above the main road. A restaurant is available within approx. 20 metres.

Balatongyörök beach is approx. 1.9 km away. Free parking is available at the five-star rated beach. The Promenád Café and Patisserie is approx. 400 metres away, and a grocery shop approx. 1.5 km.

🌡️ Air Conditioning and Heating

The house does not currently have a fixed air conditioning system; a portable AC unit is available. In cooler periods, the ground-floor wood stove can provide pleasant warmth, making the house potentially suitable for spring and autumn stays depending on the weather.

The house has two storeys: the bedrooms are on the upper floor, the shower bathroom on the ground floor. There is no fixed air conditioning; a portable AC unit is provided. Pets are not accepted. Smoking is only permitted in the garden at the designated area.
