The KaTo Apartment is a penthouse-style, two-level apartment located on the first floor of a residential building in Hévíz, for up to 5 guests. The apartment’s standout feature is its gallery layout: the ceiling above the living area is partially open, creating an interior space nearly two storeys high. Large roof windows built into the roof structure let in an abundance of natural light, making the space bright, spacious and modern.

Interior layout

The 85 m² apartment is arranged over two levels. The lower level contains the living area, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and covered balcony. An internal staircase leads to the gallery level, where the two bedrooms and a separate WC are located.

The living area, dining area and kitchen form one large, open-plan communal space. The gallery layout, high ceilings and natural light from the large roof windows together create the apartment’s distinctive penthouse feel.

First bedroom

Located on the gallery level, the first bedroom has a large double bed for 2 guests.

Second bedroom

The second bedroom has a large double bed and a 90 × 200 cm single bed, accommodating up to 3 guests. A particularly practical layout for families.

Living area

The living area is the apartment’s centrepiece — exceptionally bright and spacious thanks to the high interior and roof windows. Furnished with 2 large sofas, armchairs, poufs, a coffee table, and a flat-screen Smart TV with Hungarian and German satellite channels. There is no sleeping option in the living area — all 5 guests sleep in proper beds in the two separate bedrooms.

Kitchen and dining

The fully equipped kitchen is part of the open-plan living and dining area. The dining table seats 5 guests comfortably. The kitchen includes an oven, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker and a De’Longhi automatic coffee machine — the latter works with both coffee beans and ground coffee.

Bathroom and WCs

On the lower level there is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower, WC, washbasin and hairdryer. On the gallery level, a separate WC is available — a significant convenience for 4–5 guests.

Balcony and outdoor areas

Directly accessible from the living and dining area, the approx. 12 m² covered balcony overlooks the inner courtyard. A garden dining table and chairs are provided, offering the option of outdoor dining in fine weather.

The courtyard is shared with the other residents and guests of the building. A communal outdoor seating area and barbecue facilities are also available.

Parking

A designated, free parking space is available in the enclosed courtyard for up to 2 cars. Additional free parking is also available on the street if needed.

The KaTo Apartment is located in a quiet area of Hévíz, with the town centre, the Thermal Lake and everyday amenities all within easy reach.

Dental tourism — ideally located for dental patients

One of Hévíz’s most significant year-round visitor segments is dental tourism. Numerous high-quality dental clinics operate in and around the town, with technological standards often comparable to Western European practices. From general dental care through diagnostics, implantology and oral surgery to complex cosmetic and prosthetic treatments, virtually everything is available locally — typically at more favourable costs than in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

The KaTo Apartment is particularly well situated in this regard: Hodent dental clinic is approx. 150 m away, and Gelencsér Dental is approx. 700 m away.

For families

The apartment is equipped with several child-friendly amenities: a highchair, travel cot, children’s bedding, baby bath and swimming noodles are available.

Please note that the apartment is on the first floor (stairs only), and an internal staircase also leads to the bedrooms, so extra parental supervision is needed with small children.

Good to know

The apartment is split-level: the bedrooms and a separate WC are on the gallery level, the bathroom is on the lower level. The apartment is on the first floor of the building, accessible by stairs only — there is no lift. There is no air conditioning. There is no washing machine. Pets are not permitted. Smoking is allowed on the balcony only.

The building has 8 apartments, of which 2 are permanently occupied and the rest serve as holiday apartments.
